Experimental music video that celebrates the ugly and faulty using broken 3d-scans
Set in a broken and somewhat dystopian 3d-scanned version of Stockholm the Swedish psych-pop-rock group Samlings lead singer Max Grundstroem is acting out his inner demons on a public street whilst having a breakdown that gets worse by every beat of the song.
The video utilizes rough 3d-scan technology using only iPhones, which delivers 3d scans that tends to have many imperfections. Instead of trying to fight these imperfections they are exaggerated to a point where the models are barely recognisable resulting in an aesthetic that celebrates the ugly and faulty.
